Project context
This landing page was developed for a private medical clinic in Kyiv, Ukraine, focused on treating gambling addiction.
The page was designed specifically for paid traffic acquisition via Google Ads, which introduces a number of constraints related to medical advertising policies, content structure, and lifecycle expectations.
Unlike long-term corporate websites, this type of landing page is expected to operate for a limited period, tied directly to the active advertising campaign.
{?}
Task
The primary goal was to create a high-conversion landing page that would:
- clearly communicate the nature of the medical service;
- build trust within a sensitive and psychologically complex topic;
- provide immediate and simple contact options;
- avoid visual and technical overload;
- perform reliably under paid traffic conditions, primarily on mobile devices.
No predefined design was provided — the layout and visual logic were developed directly during implementation.

Approach
The page was built using a structure-first approach.
Instead of focusing on visual effects, the emphasis was placed on:
- clear information hierarchy;
- predictable user flow (problem → explanation → trust → action);
- minimal friction before contact;
- strong focus on mobile usability.
All primary call-to-action elements trigger a lightweight popup contact form instead of sending users to separate pages. This reduces cognitive load and helps maintain conversion consistency.

Technical implementation
The landing page was built on WordPress using Astra Pro and Gutenberg with Spectra blocks.
Key implementation details:
- the landing page was initially developed on the contractor’s hosting environment and then migrated to the client’s domain;
- lightweight block-based layout without heavy builders;
- popup-based contact forms implemented via SureForms;
- document gallery (licenses, certificates) with lightbox and carousel viewing;
- embedded YouTube video testimonial;
- real patient feedback presented as screenshots.
A custom-built quiz module was implemented without external plugins (HTML, JS, PHP):
- interactive gambling addiction test;
- dynamic question flow;
- submission of user responses and contact data via email;
- integration with the clinic’s consultation workflow.

Mobile-first considerations
The majority of traffic for this type of landing page is mobile.
The layout was adapted accordingly:
- simplified block structure;
- clear tap targets for CTAs;
- reduced visual noise;
- consistent behavior of popups and interactive elements.
The mobile version preserves full functionality while maintaining clarity and performance.

Performance and behavior
Using Gutenberg and Spectra allowed the page to remain lightweight and predictable in behavior.
The absence of heavy page builders and excessive scripts resulted in:
- fast load times;
- stable rendering across devices;
- reduced risk of performance degradation under ad traffic.
This is particularly important for paid campaigns, where performance directly impacts conversion efficiency.

Result
The client received a campaign-ready medical landing page designed for real-world advertising use.
The solution provides:
- clear and structured communication of a sensitive medical service;
- Ca frictionless contact flow;
- stable performance under traffic load;
- a flexible landing page system that can be deployed, cloned, or retired depending on campaign needs.

Notes
This type of project differs from traditional long-term websites.
Here, the main value lies in clarity, conversion logic, and reliable behavior under paid traffic conditions rather than in visual complexity.
It is also the kind of page structure that remains readable not only for users and search engines, but increasingly for AI-driven search and retrieval systems, which tend to interpret clear semantic hierarchy better than visually overloaded layouts.
