About the project
Nuar Boutique is an online store focused on women’s lingerie, accessories, and fashion products.
The project was built on WordPress using XStore and WooCommerce.
Unlike projects created from a strict design system or detailed technical specification, development followed a more flexible process.
The client selected one of the available XStore starter templates as the initial direction. Beyond that, no finalized design or detailed specifications were provided.
Visual and structural decisions evolved directly during implementation through references, examples, and ongoing discussion.

Initial setup and storefront structure
The selected starter template was installed and adapted to the client’s requirements.
Additional work included:
- assistance with domain purchase;
- connection of the domain to the client’s hosting environment;
- replacement of the temporary technical domain with the production one;
- creation of key pages including Homepage and About page;
- setup of store and category archive layouts;
- footer customization via XStore builder.
Although the starter template provided the initial structure, a substantial amount of work involved adapting and refining it for real storefront usage.

Product catalog and product page customization
Approximately 40 products were added and prepared for launch.
Most products included variable attributes such as:
- size selection;
- color selection;
- multiple product variations.
Image preparation required additional work including:
- scaling;
- cropping;
- visual consistency adjustments.

Special attention was given to product presentation and variation behavior.
The product page template was additionally refined inside the XStore builder to better match product photography proportions and improve compatibility with product variation functionality.
Accordion-based information sections were also added to improve content organization.

Variation Swatches customization
Product variations were implemented using Variation Swatches for WooCommerce.
Standard functionality was extended to improve visual presentation.
A custom solution was introduced for displaying multi-color product sets inside a single color selector option.
Instead of showing only standard single-color swatches, specific products received combined visual indicators representing multiple colors within one selection element.
This became one of several small but noticeable interface refinements throughout the project.

Checkout and integrations
The project included integration of payment and delivery systems:
- WayForPay payment gateway;
- WC Ukraine Shipping (Nova Poshta; Ukrposhta; Rozetka Delivery; Meest);
The checkout flow was additionally adjusted to ensure compatibility with these integrations and maintain predictable user behavior.

The client received a fully operational WooCommerce storefront prepared for real product management and sales.

The process involved not only configuration and content population, but also multiple interface adjustments and practical refinements shaped directly during implementation.
